Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness
It is another day, grinding through the hustle of back-to-back meetings, resources allocated to more noise than signal, leadership constantly changing direction like the wind and without foresight. Trapped in a hamster wheel of work stagnation. Thinking to yourself why I am banging my head against the wall for a firm that doesn’t leverage my skills and expertise.
Honestly, I think we’ve all have had some similar experiences and thoughts in various points of our careers. Wondering and asking ourselves, could I step out on my own? Becoming an entrepreneur can be intimidating because it could feel like the ‘unknown’, the uncertainty of success and risk of security. For me I was compelled to step out into the ‘unknown’. I thought to myself, I live in one of the few countries on this planet and in history where we have the freedom, the independence, the opportunity to achieve success and ultimately to live the life you have imagined. So, with that, I decided the time is now to pursue my dreams of starting my own firm.
It is not easy but the worth and value of being an entrepreneur for me has been unparalleled. Independence Day is a reminder, this has been possible because of utterly unique experiment we call the United States of America. Embrace the experience and immerse yourself in the words of the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These three documents, known collectively as the Charters of Freedom, have secured the rights of the American people and are considered instrumental to the founding and philosophy of the United States.
Happy Independence 4th of July, fellow Americans
